Monica Testa
Monica obtained her Masters in 2015 from the Energy and Resources Group. She is interested in electric vehicle adoption, alternative energy policy, and sustainable energy development. Her research involves modeling the dollar value of grid services provided by electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging equipment infrastructure markets. Monica works part-time at the California Public Utilities Commission and is a Lawrence Berkeley National Lab Research Affiliate. She is passionate about finding ways to reduce the environmental, social, and economic impacts of energy use.
Before arriving at ERG, Monica worked for the Vermont Energy Investment Company on residential energy efficiency, rode her bicycle across southern and eastern Europe, ski-bummed in Telluride, Colorado, and worked at an energy infrastructure corporation in New Delhi, India. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont.
