Increasing the spatial resolution of the Human Development Index using satellite imagery (MS ’22)
Luke’s research aims to encourage the use of innovative technology and management systems in order to improve environmental management and adapt to climate change. His work draws on economics, environmental law, and data science.
Currently, Luke is a Graduate Student Researcher with the Global Policy Lab, where he is working with a large team that seeks to make satellite imagery more easily accessible to key decisionmakers. He is also actively examining policy mechanisms to encourage managed aquifer recharge with the Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment.
Luke is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
