Andrea Mercado

Andrea graduated from UC Merced with a BS in Applied Mathematics on Engineering Mechanics and a minor in Writing. During her time at UCM, Andrea interned for UCM Facilities as a Building Efficiency Intern aiding in UCM’s goal to meet a Triple Zero Challenge of zero net energy, emissions, and waste by 2020. Since graduation, Andrea has gained over two years of experience as a Senior Research Associate for the Building Technologies and Urban Systems Department at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She assists development of web-based tools, which derive energy-saving measures from actionable analytics of building data. Links
