Anjali Katta

Anjali Katta (she/her) is a Masters student in the Energy Resources Group. She is interested in environmental, climate, and economic justice on both local and international scales. She has a a specific interest in processes and solutions that simultaneously democratize and decarbonize systems. She is a research assistant for both Professor Meg Mills-Novoa at the Climate Futures Lab and Professor Daniel Aldana Cohen at the Socio-Spatial Climate Collaborative.

Prior to coming to ERG Anjali worked at Stand.Earth as an investigative researcher on environmental and corporate accountability campaigns. She has also held research positions at UN Global Pulse, UN Refugee Agency, and a solar micro-grid NGO. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics, a minor in Human Rights, and Honors through the Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law at Stanford University in 2019.

In her spare time, Anjali enjoys reading, hiking, and long walks with her dog.
