Victoria Junquera

Victoria became interested in food systems through her work on biofuels, first as an engineer at a biodiesel plant, and most recently at the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels. Victoria received MS and BS degrees in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (02, 04). At ERG, she hopes to investigate enabling factors for a transition towards a more sustainable food system, with a focus on people as drivers of change and as ʺrecipientsʺ of policy, particularly economic and trade policy. Outside of school she enjoys the great outdoors and gardening. Her little brother Joaquin and the rest of their family live in Spain.
